ok the Chief should have

ok the Chief should have refrained from using the n word, however, if the man is capable of doing his JOB as Chief and is qualified to do his job as Cheif, isnt that more

important than the use of a word? The job is saving lives,  doing your best to save as much proptery from damage as possible and Doing the job 24 hours a day 7 days a week... And some one uses a word we dont like? OH  WOW... We are supposed to be adults here.... Instead FRY a person because he said a word... GROW UP not everything everyone says we  are going to like... HOWEVER I am sure worse things have been said on the FIREGROUND... I know i have and not proud of it BUT when things start to go bad on the Fireground things get said.

Oh did anyone ever think to read the Constitution of the United States I recall something about free speech.

the statement above mine may

the statement above mine may be the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard. it has nothing to do with a word that "someone doesn't like." it has to do with the fact that as you stated, we ARE adults. and in saying that, we should act as such. not like an idiot teenager who just figure out that he can use profanity.

nuff said.
